International Journalism Festival
When revenue shrank, the International Journalism Festival in Perugia, Italy, didn’t cut staff or send people on furloughs or panic or make everyone start a blog.
It just got canceled.
The festival, which would have taken place in April of next year, first began in 2007, and last year had a revenue of €400,000 ($54496 USD), most of which came from corporate sponsors, according to the site.
Kristen Hare writes about how the International Journalism Festival that was due to take place in Apriil 2014 in Perugia has been cancelled by its founders Arianna ciccone & Christopher Potter.
